Drawn to problem-solving and spatial thinking from an early age, she pursued her undergraduate degree in architecture at Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Here, she developed a strong grounding in architectural design, technical rigor, and conceptual clarity.
Her academic journey extended beyond conventional classrooms. She actively sought experiential learning, participating in the Raw Earth Workshop on Sustainable Construction conducted by Sacred Groves, Auroville, where she gained hands-on exposure to eco-conscious and earth-based building techniques. Further expanding her design perspective, she completed a certified workshop in Landscape and Urban Development under the mentorship of esteemed landscape architects at K. Raghuram Associates, Chennai.
With a keen inclination toward emerging design methodologies, Sri Nidhi also undertook a Parametric Design course, where her innovative approach earned her the ‘Best Design’ recognition, reinforcing her ability to blend technology with creativity.

Born and raised in Chennai, Sri Nidhi comes from a family deeply immersed in creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. Though not directly connected to architecture or construction, her upbringing was rich in artistic exposure. Her mother, a former actress, went on to establish and successfully run her own production company and dance school, while her father is a respected film director and documentary filmmaker. Her older sister, an entrepreneur based in Singapore, further strengthened the family’s culture of independence and resilience.

Eager to explore her own design voice, she transitioned into freelancing, working closely with clients on independent projects. This period allowed her to experiment, refine her approach, and understand the nuances of client-centric design.
